Deep Discount DVD loves me and wants me to be happy. Unfortunately, they apparently don't want me to get any work done.

Can you say delivery of RotK extended edition pre-order? I knew you could.

I know what my reward for a hard day's work is going to be. For about the next two weeks.

Most of you will have seen this already, but just in case you haven't: melymbrosia is saying beautiful and smart things about Theoden and Eowyn in the LotR movies.

I saw Return of the King again this weekend, and realized while talking about it on the way home that I never did post thoughts about it (and the trilogy as a whole), as I'd meant to. So this seemed like the time. There may be more later, but this is the stuff I've been thinking about recently.

I love everybody involved with the making of these movies. (Except Rick Porras, although at the moment my benevolence almost extends even to him.)

I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep.

Possibly I will have thoughts later. Alternatively, there might just be bouncing.
